            Sealed tenders are invited for shifting office items from the existing location to the new location as detailed below :

            The items to be shifted and the terms and conditions are furnished below for bidding and necessary  action. While quoting  for the charges please comply with the following :

 

  1. That the quotation should be sent in a sealed cover superscribed as “ Quotation for shifting of office items” and with kind attention of the Director, Positional Astronomy Centre.
  2. The quotes should contain all the rates with other charges, if any.

 

 

            Competent authority reserves the right to cancel the quotation without assigning any reason. Quotation once submitted can neither be withdrawn nor any entry could be changed by the bidder. Your quotation covering all the points must reach this office on or before 20th. May, 2008.

 

            You are requested to depute one of your representatives at this office premises to see the items to be shifted before quoting for the rates.

 

 

  1. ITEMS TO BE SHIFTED:

 

  1. All kinds of  office furniture (wooden and steel).
  2. Library  publications including old and current stocks.
  3. Electrical goods.
  4. Personal computers and its accessories, Television , Fax machines, Water coolers, Photocopiers, Telescopes and other fragile items.

 

      B.  TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

 

  1. Eligibility and experience: Quotation should contain your eligibility and past work experience with documentary proof.
  2. Technical and financial proposal: Quotation should contain both financial and technical proposal. Technical proposal should contain the mode of  moving, packing and transportation service including insurance coverage for the job offered to you. The financial proposal should contain the rates (Categorically) for each service as mentioned by you.
  3. Selection Procedure: Selection will be made by the competent authority of this office on the basis of merit of the proposal submitted by you.
  4. Contract Term: Job must be completed within 10 (Ten) days from the date of commencement of the job.
  5. Mid Term Review: A mid-term review of the service rendered by you at the time of providing the service will be made by this office.
  6. Mode of Payment: Payment will be made only after satisfactory completion of the job.
