The Moon

The Moon passes about 4½º North of Mars in the very early hours of 3rd, 3½º North of Venus as well as about 1½º South of Saturn on 7th, 1½º South of Mercury on 13th, 5½º South of Jupiter on 16th, about 1½º South of Neptune on 21st , 2º North of Uranus on 23rd and again about 3º North of Mars on 31st.
The Planets
The Visibility of Planets :
Mercury: The planet can only be seen in the evening low in the western sky after sunset. It sets within one hour to half an hour after sunset almost during the first half of the month. The motion of the planet becomes Retrograde with respect to the Earth on 12th. Thereafter it is too near the Sun to be visible, being in Inferior Conjunction with the Sun on 24th. At the fag end of the month the planet reappears low in the eastern sky before sunrise, rises about one hour before it and remains visible till the beginning of morning twilight.
Venus: It is a brilliant object, can be seen in the eastern sky before sunrise and remains visible till the beginning of morning twilight throughout the month. It rises about three hours before sunrise during the month. It is in Greatest Eastern Elongation of about 46° from the Sun on 28th.
Mars: The planet can be seen in the eastern sky from the late night and remains visible till the beginning of morning twilight throughout the month. It rises within one and a half hour to two hours before local midnight during the first half of the month, two hours to two and a half hours before it upto third quarter of the month and two and a half hours to three hours before it for the remaining days of the month.
Jupiter: The planet can be seen in the evening in the western sky after sunset throughout the month. It sets about three hours before local midnight during the first half of the month. During the second half of the month the planet sets within three hours to two and a half hours after sunset.
Saturn: The planet can be seen in the early hours in the eastern sky before sunrise and remains visible till the beginning of morning twilight. It rises within two and a half hours to three hours before sunrise during the first quarter of the month. The planet rises about two and a half hours to two hours after local midnight upto third quarter of the month and two hours to one and a half hour after it for the remaining days of the month.
Uranus: The planet can be seen in the evening in the eastern sky after sunset throughout the month. It sets within one and a half hour to two hours before sunrise during first quarter of the month, two hours to two and a half hours before it upto middle of the month and about two and a half hours to three hours before it upto third quarter of the month. The planet sets about two and a half hours to two hours after local midnight for the remaining days of the month.
Neptune: The planet can be seen in the evening towards the western sky after sunset throughout the month. It sets within two hours to one and a half hour after local midnight during the first quarter of the month, one and a half hour to one hour after it upto middle of the month, one hour to half an hour after it upto third quarter of the month and near to local midnight time for the remaining days of the month.
Conjunction of Planets :
Venus passes about 3º South of the star Regulus (Magha) on 9th
Venus passes about 3º South of Saturn on 15th.
